Dr.Craig Derkay

Dr. Craig Derkay is an ENT-otolaryngologist in Norfolk, Virginia and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Bon Secours-DePaul Medical Center and Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CKHD) where he is the director of pediatric otolaryngology. In his 30th year a CHKD, he has been part of the leadership team at CHKD for many years as a member of the Medical Executive committee, Surgical Authorities committee, Medical Directors, Division Directors and various task forces.

Dr. Derkay is the Fine-endowed professor and vice-chair of otolaryngology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, president of the EVMS Faculty Senate as well as the Tidewater Pediatric Society, and past-president of the Tidewater Otolaryngology and Opthalmology Society. He has been part of the leadership team at CHKD for many years as a member of the Medical Executive committee, Surgical Authorities committee, Medical Directors, Division Directors and various task forces.

Dr. Derkay received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He has written 127 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 33 book chapters. He and his wife, Dr. Kris Kennedy, have two adult children, daughter Alex and son Andy.
